Kagome hasn't stepped foot in that room since she's been here. She woke up with trees and the smell of an ocean nearby surrounding her.

[She smiles back, but it's obviously forced and not the least bit genuine.]

[he laughs a little bit.]

[She gives a half-smile, one not so forced.]

I'm from Japan, but I've visited the feudal era many times. Not that that means much to you...
