A number of booths have sprung up near the shoreline, enticing you to don yourself in the colorful festive garb of a true Bermuda native! Unwind from your day and come out to see what's offered. ♥ There are all sorts of delicious foods and snacks, and plenty of souvenirs. It's time to ring in the New Year of 2012! Lanterns have been strung up, and the snow seems to have stopped. In fact, no snow is to be seen near the site of the festival itself. Oddly, the booths are all run by strange black goatlike creatures in finely tailored suits...

The catch is, unless you sneak in, you have to come with a friend or a date! So find someone to go in with you! ♥ You may even catch a glimpse of Eureka as she wanders the festival... ]

[Querla glances down at her hand. Truth be told, she honestly doesn't make any physical contact with many people. Back home, not many people had wanted to shake the hand of the descendant of Brainiac, and as she'd grown, she'd learned to keep her appendages close to her body to discourage any ideas.]

[He didn't seem bothered by it at all. She's green, yes, but that's far from the strangest thing he's ever seen. Frankly he's just grateful she hasn't turned into a dinosaur. He chuckles a bit.]

I'm a part of something similar to that myself. Likely on a much smaller scale, but none the less...

I'm just.. Philip. I suppose there are other things I could be called but.. none of them quite suit me as well as "Philip".

Would you prefer to be called Brainiac 5? Or Querla? Ms. Dox?

[He's a rather accommodating fellow. Mostly because he's not suited to being alone, and he's trying to befriend as many people as he can. And it would be nice to have someone to research with.]

[He nodded with a much clearer smile. Philip was very open with his emotions, again if only because he didn't know how not to be. For how smart and rational he was, he was very very childish and easily excited.]

Whatever evil has decided to make nonsense and nothing out of their days. [She sighs, looking to her device.] And then someone tries to demonstrate vain egotism within the team and messes something up yet again.

[Though he was sure sometimes it was his own ego that had messed things up. But they'd always come out ahead in the end. At least until Philip had died. But that was taken care of now as well, so he tried not to dwell on it.]

[Querla knew to keep her own ego in check. Of course, she boasted and she prided over her brilliance and title (though often people detailed how it could such a curse), but she never let it interfere with her mission work.] As fun as scraping gelatinous goo from the ceiling truly is?

That's not one we usually deal with, fortunately. It's rare anything actually occurs at the agency... Though my cat seems to have made a hobby out of knocking Shotaro's things off of his desk.

Shotaro doesn't really like Mikku, so I doubt he'd let me bring another cat home... Franky, I'm surprised Shotaro even kept him during the year I was dead.

I think it's more that Mikku has tried to kill both of us on more than one occasion.

He can't do that anymore, but I think Shotaro might still hold a bit of a grudge.
