[3RD LOOK UP] - the best laid plans
[After the festival, Philip has been scarce. His phone has been on his bed for a few days, but he hasn't been there to answer it at all. He's pretty much been entirely outside of communication. The reason for this is that, during some wandering around, Philip discovered the light house and, more importantly, the library.
He's spent much of the past few days there, looking into how to restore books and trying to get started on that since nothing int he library is in very good condition. It's appalling to him, really. He's offended. But all the more reason for him to get to fixing it, since he doesn't see anyone else taking up the task.
Though after several days he found himself feeling very weak and realized he hadn't eaten anything since going out there. He's pretty sure Tendou is going to kill him...
So he's trying to subtly get back to the house and is trying to come up with a plan to get in, sneak food out of the kitchen, and then hide upstairs for a while until he can figure out how to lie his way out of getting lectured about his eating habits or lack there of. He's got a bag full of what few books weren't falling apart that he wants to look into, hoping for more answers about "witches".]

[He leans on a tree, adjusting the bag slung over his shoulder. He needs the tree, since he seems to be having a hard time staying up if he's not moving.]

[Tendou sighs]
It's been five days since you've come to dinner. How long since you've eaten?

[He brought a sandwhich with him the morning he left.]

I can't even feed you properly now or you'll get sick. Have to wean you back onto food.

...I-It's not that big of an issue...

Because when you don't eat, your body starts breaking down the fat you've got stored as an emergency, because it assumes you can't find food. It assumes you're starving.
no subject
...Of course I know that. I know how the human body works.

It varies from person to person based on weight and genetics. Mahatma Gandhi survived for 21 days in a state of total starvation allowing only small sips of water. Some others have survived almost a month and a half.

Gandhi was hospitalized for an extended period after his hunger strikes. There isn't a hospital here.

I was doing research. I want to go home. I just... lost track of time while in the Bookshelves and the Library.
[He is frustrated that he let it come to this, and he looks like an ashamed child who got caught doing something he knows he shouldn't. But he needs to get home. It's important. Forgetting a few meals or losing a pound or two isn't that important in the grand scheme of things.]

I'm trying to keep track as best I can.

[Tendou tosses Phillip his phone.]

...I thought I had it.

If you'd come back to sleep, you'd have found it.

I don't know how to stop myself, Tendou... Usually I have Shotaro to drag me out of researching. I have my partner to help me. I don't have that here.
I need him as much as he needs me.

You're an adult and you need to act like one. You're not a child who needs to be told when to eat and when to take a bath.
... speaking of which...

You're burning what little energy you have left.
