I see this place is really dead, huh! It's not really very hustling and bustling. Well, that's fine!

Anyway, since my place has finally been renovated, I humbly and grandly invite you all to 水簾洞, or rather, the Water Curtain Cave! If you can get to the bottom, you'll find a really special treat! For those of you who are really itching to have a fight, or are restless, then come! Anshin'in-san will take on any opponent! I welcome everyone, main characters, supporting characters, trash characters and all! Of course, if you don't want to fight, then that's fine too - why don't we have some tea, settle in together and read some WSJ?

Hole up is the wrong word, Medaka-chan! I'm keeping this place for Eureka-chan, and she made this place for me as well, so it's not as if I can refuse, right?

Anyway, where are you staying? Do you want to play, Medaka-chan?

The challenge might be fun, but right now, I'm not quite up for it.

What's "WSJ"?

Weekly Shounen Jump! It's a magazine, a comic magazine!

Of course! Why wouldn't they be? They're the greatest kind of fiction for kids!

I haven't read them before, so I wouldn't know if they are good or not.

[Actually, come to think of it, it's been a long while since the last time she read manga or anything like that--getting new volumes mostly meant having to go outside and buy them, after all...]

What? You're tearing my heart apart! You should come down here, so I can show you the wonders of WSJ! I've got every volume, you know!

[Hmm. You keep manga at the bottom of a cave? That's weird. Speaking of which...]
