And so cometh the heat of our Summer days. A truly wonderful season, would you not agree?

Though the nights of Winter may be long and possessed of silent beauty, the days of Summer warmth doth possess their own charms.

Lady Applejack and myself hath born witness to the fruits of our labors, as the Sun rises upon our healthy plants. O, their beauty doth glow in the morning light.

In times most dire, We confess it felt good to accomplish things.

We-- ah, that is... I, come from a time of antiquity. In Canterlot, to speak as a commoner would be ... rude.

You are royalty then. Fascinating. I would be very interested in hearing more. Even if I do not get to keep this knowledge, it would be interesting to learn.

I would be most joyed to speak of Canterlot. It is our home.

That is indeed true, however, the Sun in this world rises of its own accord...

In this world -- Or in my world at least. I assumed it was the same everywhere. -- the sun "rises" due to the Earth's rotation.

The sun can be seen rising as the Earth turns to face the sun, and sets as the Earth turns away from it. That is why there are different timezones.. Why morning in one place is night somewhere else...

But from whence do your Gods come?

Well... Where I'm from, we have no proof Gods of any sort actually exist. There are people who believe in any number of Gods and faiths, but all we have are stories and no one quite knows who is right.

It causes a lot of problems, honestly. I prefer to put my trust in facts and science.

I ... confess I do not know of this 'science' thou doth speak of.

I guess in a world governed by magic, science isn't really needed...

Science is the use of facts to determine things about the universe. It's how we explain things.
