[Beach. When did the last time Kaito got into the beach? He doesn't recall that, and he never been here unless he has a reason. Maybe he must be dreaming, but how could it be possible to dream when he can feel the heat?

This reminds him of the last summer, where he with his siblings and friends gathered around and play volleyball, making sandcastle, smack the watermelon, chasing around, swims in the ocean, and favorite moment when it's just him and ice cream. That didn't happen now.]

What a loner. The scenery is just perfect. But what I really want this summer is much worse than the previous. Why I do deserve to have this punishment? As I recalled, I didn't do anything wrong... Unless I did something.

...Yeah! I like ice cream. I don't get to eat it very often, though.

Yeah, the company I used to work gave me the scarf, and everybody knows who I am just looking at this blue scarf!

Haha, I love ice cream so much. I eat them everyday.

Of course. Actually it's not to eat it everyday, but at least once or twice per week is fine.

I like vanilla, watermelon and sea-salt flavoured!

I haven't heard of sea-salt flavored ice cream before... Does it taste sweet? Or is it salty?

They're both sweet and sour at the same time.

[ She says, after a short delay to think over how it must taste. ]

[Then he thinks for a moment.]

...I don't know if there's any place to buy food here, though.

[And how they got the food supply anyway?]

[ Certainly an excellent question. And looking around for food is probably more important, anyway, so-- ]

[ She looks up to him, her eyes asking where they should go first. ]

[ She nods, holding his hand for support, as she leads him down the path that winds to the houses. She's been here before, but hasn't seen any trace of a place to get food from. ]

No sight of shops, huh?

[He sighs.]

Amazingly you survived that long.

I don't see any, either...

I don't eat very much. I haven't been really hungry here.

[ She thinks for a moment. ]

Maybe the witch doesn't make us feel as hungry here?

The witch? ...Oh! You did mention about the witch before.

We're under her black magic effect! That's why we don't feel hungry!

[ His epiphany sounds like something out of a storybook, but most things here sound like that, anyway. ]

Does she have the power to do that?

Yeah! She's a witch!

[Confident.]

I wonder how many powers she has... Maybe she never gets hungry, either.

I think she got no limit. Being a witch must be smart one though.
