[Early in the morning, back on the beach he arrived on, Fletcher had been tending to a small, loose plant he'd come across on the ground. It looked like it was dying, and losing its greenery color. He could've sworn there was a garden at the mansion, so how did the poor dying plant get there?

After a few hours he's drifted off to sleep on the beach without knowing it, and you might notice a strange drawing near the sleeping, and exhausted boy, with the plant in the center of it if you happen to come by.]

[Urotsuki's wandering along again when she notices the sleeping boy and the plant. What a peculiar drawing. A pair of glasses appear on her face for a moment as she decides to see if that will help the drawing make any sense to her.]

[He turns in his sleep and mumbles a little, not yet noticing the nearby presence.]

[Hmm. The drawing still doesn't make much sense to her, but she's not going to purposefully try to wake you up yet. Instead she just sits down and starts drawing in the sand too next to your drawing.]

[He just curls his body up and continues sleeping peacefully as she occupys herself.]

[Drawing a flower, a wolf, some weird distorted people like a man with octopus arms...

And then she accidentally gets too close to your other drawing and smudges the outer edges of it. Oops.]

[He twitches a little and his eyes lift slightly to spot the girl there and his body shoots up. Glancing at the drawing, it takes his eyes a moment to adjust and he sees it has been partially erased.]

Oh, the circle! It won't work now. [He sighs.]

[Head tilt before she looks down at the circle]

...What does it do?

I traced it to restore the plant a little. Its supposed to speed up the growth cells of the plant.

[He looks at the partial drawing she's made near it]

Did you make that?

[She nods, looking down at her drawings again. Her half-octopus man is nowhere near as detailed and complex as your alchemy circle was though.]

[He is intrigued by it either way, and smiles as he studies it. His was mostly scientic anyway.]

I like your drawing. I've never seen something like that, do you draw a lot?

[You don't think her drawing is weird? She's a little surprised, but happy none the less.]

Yeah, sometimes... [Whenever inspiration strikes and all that] ...Do you?

Not really.

[His smile fades] I had to help my brother a lot, so I didn't get to really do that kind of thing. [Although he would have liked to every now and then.]

[And now there's a young man kneeling next to the plant and the drawing, flipping through a blank book and mumbling to himself.]

[Hearing the faint sound of pages turning, he groans softly and his eyelids lift up a little as he uses his arms to lift his body.]

Mmm-mm...

[He notices the person there and blinks in surprise.]

Um, h-hello. What are you doing?

[He turns the page, his eyes scanning over it as if he were reading, but the page is very clearly blank.]

[Strange, the page was blank yet he pas still reading it. How peculiar...]

Currently an entry on ancient medicines, but it doesn't seem relevant to this...

[He flips the page again and frowns.]

[He looks at his drawing, realizing that the plant was still there.]

Oh no, the plant!

[He retraces his finger through the drawing, he must have fallen asleep on it.]

[Philip looks up from the book, watching carefully.]

...You did this?

[He doesn't sound upset or accusatory at all. Just curious.]

Ah, y-yes.

[He finishes and replaces the dying plant as he speaks]

But, this isn't a Rune. I wanted to save this plant, its dying off from lack of proper nutrients, so I wanted to try and help it a little. I found it lying on the ground and I didn't want it to get crushed.

I don't understand what scribling symbols int he sand would do to help...

[He flips a few more pages, staring thoughtfully down at the book, then looking back to the plant, seeming a little frustrated that there's a connection he's unable to make.]

Yes but, there was no soil around when I found it and with the weather changing unexpectedly it might not be enough.

[Points at the drawing] If I can use this transmutation circle, I can prevent the plant from dying off by restoring some of the cells until it can be replanted again.

[He looks back down at the book, flipping through a few pages quickly, then shakes his head.]

Transmutation on it's own is too vague of a keyword. You'll have to be more specific on the type of transmutation.

Oh--I'm sorry. You see, I specialize in plant-based alchemy. A transmutation can allow the user to accelerate the growth of the plant, that way it will live longer. However, I can't keep it alive forever.

[Thoughtful pause] Um, what do you mean by keyword?
