[Someone's been hard at work attempting to remodel the interior of her guest house. The floor is littered with cables running all through the house, each and every electrical appliance in the building connected into this self-contained grid. It also seems one or two of the devices have been disassembled for spare parts, and several makeshift cameras appear to have been rigged around the interior and exterior.

Anyone who deigns to enter will be greeted by the sight of this elaborate electronic spiderweb, and at the heart of it GLaDOS herself, wires extending from her back up into the ceiling, apparently connected to everything in the house. In front of her, propped up on a table and connected to the cable-web is one of the mysterious devices left out in the mansion for all newcomers.

GLaDOS seems intent on examining it, eyes fixated firmly on it. However, it's as if she already knows you're there. Because she does.]
