[Beach. When did the last time Kaito got into the beach? He doesn't recall that, and he never been here unless he has a reason. Maybe he must be dreaming, but how could it be possible to dream when he can feel the heat?

This reminds him of the last summer, where he with his siblings and friends gathered around and play volleyball, making sandcastle, smack the watermelon, chasing around, swims in the ocean, and favorite moment when it's just him and ice cream. That didn't happen now.]

What a loner. The scenery is just perfect. But what I really want this summer is much worse than the previous. Why I do deserve to have this punishment? As I recalled, I didn't do anything wrong... Unless I did something.

[ There's a little girl staring at you from a bit away, watching. She doesn't say anything, but she does poke her head out from behind a palm tree at the edge of the beach. ]

[Oh, a cute little girl. Kaito approaches to her, not too close but at least reachable.]

[ She doesn't move as he approaches her, but simply watches until he's close. He's much taller than she is, so she cranes her neck upward to look him in the eyes. ]

Hello... [ She looks him over. ] Are you... new?

[Squats down to her level. He's not going to make her look up due to his height. That would be pain on the neck.]

--Oh, dear, she just got complimented! Her face blushes a slight shade of crimson as she stares at the sand to her feet. ]

M-my name is Ib... It's nice to meet you. Do you... have any questions about this place?

[ He's nice, so the least she could do is try to help him out, right? ]

[Kaito is trying to be friendly, no other than that. Since she asked...]

[ She looks down to the ground again at his question, eyes drifting this way and that. ]

I'm not sure. It's...

[ There's a long pause for a moment as she thinks over her next words. ]

[Kaito tilts his head aside.]

Interesting?

I've heard... something about a witch. That we were brought here by one. It's hard to believe, though.

[ Of course, she's seen some pretty impossible things before. ]

[recklessice]

A witch? We've been brought here by a source of black magic?

It's impossible.

[fabricatedworld]

[ She nods, unsure of how to reply. It's impossible, but... How else would they be here, after all? Taken away from family and friends with no recollection of the journey... ]

I haven't seen her. I don't think anyone has. Maybe it's a lie.

...How do you know this in the first place?

[fabricatedworld]

It's what I was told when I got here.

I see. Hm, I guess I have no choice to stay here then.

[fabricatedworld]

[ Her expression falters, and her voice drops to a whisper. ]

I don't know if there is a way home, anyway.

[recklessice]

[Aww, this girl is trying to help. That earns her a head pat.]

It's alright. It's not like we're going to stuck here forever though. Anyway, thanks for the help.

[ She leans into his touch a bit, comforted by the gesture. ]

Right. I'm sure we'll get out. [ Just like last time, in the gallery. ]

Sure! You will be the first girl I'll be looking for. Oh, I should do that in return if I find something.

[ She smiles wider this time, and it's a bit easier to talk to him now. It's nice to meet so many friendly people here. ]

I... haven't thought about it.

[Should he sleeps on the beach then?]

There are guest houses.

[ She points off into the distance, past the jungle and toward the direction of the guest houses. ]

You have a key attached to your cell phone. [ To prove it, she pulls out her own phone and shows him her own key dangling from a strap attached to it. ]

[recklessice]

[He turns to the row of houses before turning back at her. Then he takes out his cellphone, and what a surprise! There's a key attached to it.]

Hey, you're right! I don't think I had one before.

[fabricatedworld]

[ She nods softly. She didn't have one before either, after all. ]

The key at the end opens your room. You might have a roommate.
