A number of booths have sprung up near the shoreline, enticing you to don yourself in the colorful festive garb of a true Bermuda native! Unwind from your day and come out to see what's offered. ♥ There are all sorts of delicious foods and snacks, and plenty of souvenirs. It's time to ring in the New Year of 2012! Lanterns have been strung up, and the snow seems to have stopped. In fact, no snow is to be seen near the site of the festival itself. Oddly, the booths are all run by strange black goatlike creatures in finely tailored suits...

The catch is, unless you sneak in, you have to come with a friend or a date! So find someone to go in with you! ♥ You may even catch a glimpse of Eureka as she wanders the festival... ]

[He looks around at the festivities cheerfully.]

It looks so nice. What should we do first?

Heh.. Been a while since I've been to one of these... Wonder if there's any games or anything.

Games? Let's go find some then. [He scans for anything that might look fun, all the while keeping close to her so he doesn't get lost.]

[She keeps hold of his hand as she looks around, as she always had with Ganju when taking him places. Though Fletcher was far less likely to run off and get into trouble. She managed to find a ring toss game and smiles.]

This looks easy enough...

[He blinks at the booth for a second, trying to determine what the goal of the game was. He wasn't very familiar with such things, since he'd spent so much time with other issues alongside his brother. Still, it was nice to be able to enjoy himself for a change.]

Oh, this? What do you have to do with those?

Looks like you toss these and try and get 'em around those bottles... That doesn't seem too hard, right?

[He shakes his head and smiles.]

Why don't you try first?

[Kukaku grins and takes a ring, judging the weight and tossing. It bounces of the edge of a bottle and falls. She sighs and places her hand on her hip.]

Harder than it looks...

Yeah, it looks difficult.

[He takes another ring and tosses, watching it nearly miss the target but somehow successfully land and swing around the bottle a few times before falling.]

Hey! Ya got one! Good job!

[She laughs and tries again, still missing. She shakes her head.]

Heh... I guess all this sword-work's got my throwing arm kinda rusty...

Oh, you almost got that one! [he laughed]

[He offers her a new ring to throw] Why don't you try it again?

Heh... Okay. One more try!

[She laughs and takes the ring, tossing it. It goes a little further than she expected, but rings around the neck of one of the bottles in the back.]

Ha! Not bad!

You got it!

[He tosses again, but his ring flies over the bottle this time without touching it.]

[sigh] I'm not very good, I guess.

Hey, you got one before me.

[She laughs and musses his hair.]

We can't win all the time or it would be no fun, right?

[He laughs a little again.] Yeah, you're right. It is nice to be able to do something fun too.

Good idea. I'm sure they've got plenty of different foods at a festival.

Oh, I'm not particularly picky, since I don't eat much. If it tastes good, I don't mind eating it.

Heh, I'm pretty much the same way. If it was in the house, I'd eat it.

[Of course, all this means is that she is going to go around collecting up everything she can find for them.]

Maybe we'll find something we've never tried before. We should do as much as we can since we don't know if there will be another festival like this, right?

[He was glad to see she was in a good mood, he was enjoying her company quite a lot. Its a good thing he came to the festival after all.]

[Kukaku laughed and led him along. It was nice to have someone to play big sister to. It made her feel far more at home. she found a food stall and gathered up a variety of food, then looked around for some place to sit and eat it.]

Why don't we sit over there, it looks like a nice spot. [He pointed to a nearby, what looked like a neat little table in the shade.]
